NCsoft Q3 2020: Guild Wars 2 had its best quarter since two years. Guild Wars 2, 2nd, 2019 has a lot of improvements. NCsoft Q4 2020: The Aion Classic was a huge success. NCsoft Q1 2021: Total revenues have fallen 30 percent, but Guild Wars 2 is making a huge leap. NCsoft Q3 2021: War Wars 2 has the best quarter in three years. Lineage W generated revenue, but production increased from the company. In the year 2000, NCsoft Q4 2021: Guild Wars 2 got excellent results. NTSC Q1 2022: Revenues are growing after Lineage W and Guild Wars 2 arrive this year Throne and Liberty. NCsoft Q2 2022: Throne and Liberty delayed to 2023, Aion 2 in dev, Guild Wars 2 blossomed, and Guild Wars 2 increased. NCsoft Q3 2022: Lineage W drives QoQ revenues, Guild Wars 2 had an amazing year. As noted in the first interview, we kept an eye on original flavor of Blade & Soul, which has continued to decline throughout 2022. In the land of PC, the revenues are relatively low, Guild Wars 2 has been riding high all year through the start of the year, thanks to End of Dragons and is up 22% compared to 3 X 2021, though it has been a bit slow since the Q2 peak. According to the investors, it would currently begin to push the project into the first half of next year.Īs with all the company’s current games, mobile is still king: lineage M, Lineage 2M, and Blade & Soul 2 – only to be a tifle of their revenue (b&s revenue, however, is very low and has only dropped all year). NCsofts next big thing, of course, is in the Lineage franchise, or at least it used to be: The game once called Lineage III and Lineage Eternal was upgraded into Throne and Liberty and is now experiencing a lot of delays. While the profits from the Korean company in question has risen in last few quarters, Q3 isn’t really increasing by 21%, mainly due to the popularity of Lineage W, which rolled out last year and caused a huge bump in Q4. You can pre-register for the game right now on mobile devices, and NCSoft plans to launch Lineage W - globally, of course - via its Purple platform for Android, iOS, and PC by the end of the year a PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch launch will come in 2022.The Q3 of Q2 2022 that NCsoft reads is another story of a resurgence. The Lineage W website doesn't have a lot more information beyond the presentation we've embedded below, but will likely be updated in the coming months. Information will be unlocked as you play the game, which Choi called "information farming." Lineage W will have more information available in-game, such as monster and hunting ground information, boss stats and respawn time, real-time combat data, and more. Lee described current Lineage games as "aggressively hostile towards new players," an issue that's especially the case in Korea and would be even worse for an international audience. Instead of guilds, Lineage W will have "blood pledges," along with an Alliance system that forms the basis for the large-scale world battles. Lineage W's PvP battles can involve players from all over the world, and NCSoft has taken steps to ensure that people can play together despite language barriers, including voice-to-text functionality. What sets Lineage W apart - and brings the "W" to the forefront - is its focus on the Global Battle Community. The art and themes are darker than previous Lineage games, especially coming through in the individual class stories. In development for our years, Lineage W is played from an ARPG-like isometric view, while employing effects like camera shake to maintain the "distinct, choppy animation sword swings in 2D sprites," as Development Section Chief Choi Hong-young put it. The "W" stands for "World," and the game "aims to be the zenith and completion of the series," according to Lineage W Group Leader Lee Sung-gu. NCSoft has unveiled Lineage W, its new vision for a global MMORPG.
